Volunteer Expectations/ SAN’s Expectations of Volunteers
We at South Asian Network truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. We would not be where we are today without them. As a volunteer, you can expect an educational, fun, and supportive environment from our team. We will provide you with the tools and training to excel as a volunteer, regardless of the project or task at hand.
Once you fill out the volunteer interest form, our Volunteer Coordinator will get in contact with you and conduct an interview to place you in the right volunteer assignment. As an organization, we expect our volunteers to attend their volunteer commitments regularly and keep a record of their volunteer work at SAN. We also ask that you follow our volunteer procedures carefully and respect the confidentiality of any SAN record or information as well as that of clients.
