SABZ: Helping South Asian entrepreneurs grow through funding, mentorship, and exposure.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Rooted in the rich cultural communities of Little India and Little Bangladesh, the SABZ Program (South Asian Business Support Program) is a new initiative by the South Asian Network (SAN) dedicated to empowering South Asian small business owners across Southern California. SABZ provides tailored support, with a focus on expanding access to capital, building financial resilience, and creating sustainable paths to growth for South Asian entrepreneurs.

- Increase Access to Capital – Facilitate connections to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs)
- Strengthen Business Resilience – Support sustainable operations through mentorship, education, and resources
- Empower Cultural Communities – Uplift South Asian-owned businesses in immigrant-rich neighborhoods
- Ensure Long-Term Impact – Identify and develop sustainable funding streams to maintain ongoing support

The SABZ Program is designed for:
- South Asian business owners and entrepreneurs (including Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Afghan, Bhutanese, and more)
- Small businesses located in Los Angeles County, especially within Little India, Little Bangladesh, and nearby communities
- Entrepreneurs looking to grow, recover, or stabilize their businesses through sustainable support
