Zahra Hajee is the External Affairs Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, where she leads strategic partnerships and community engagement on some of the region’s most pressing issues. Previously, she served in the office of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla. As a Pakistani American, Muslim community organizer, and advocate for survivors of gender-based violence, Zahra is passionate about bringing people together and empowering communities to shape their own future. She serves as President of the Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County and Vice President of California Women’s List. Zahra is a graduate of UCLA and the Southern California Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
