Engagement Intern
Stuti Pradhan is a fourth-year at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she is studying Human Biology and Society, with a minor in Education Studies. Having observed the damaging effects of teen dating violence on individuals, families, and communities during high school, she was instantly interested in SAN’s AWAZ unit. She is now passionate about initiating challenging yet important conversations surrounding stigmatized topics in the South Asian community.
At UCLA, Stuti is involved in the Saving Hearts Foundation, the Academic Affairs Commission, and the Indian Student Union (ISU). She learned about SAN through her work as the Director of External Relations for ISU. Now, she is involved in initiating a Youth Program, aiming to increase youth involvement in SAN’s advocacy and social justice efforts. Her experience at SAN has displayed the importance of culturally and linguistically specific care, an approach she aims to implement in her future career in medicine.
