Special Projects Coordinator
Tanya currently serves as the Special Projects Coordinator at South Asian Network beginning in July, 2021. She comes from an extensive background of experience in the customer service industry, and proudly prioritizes the needs of the community and clients she serves. Growing up heavily involved in the South Asian community in Cerritos and Torrance, she has cultivated many connections and is very excited to be in a position where she is able to give back to the community which helped raise her. Tanya is also involved in the Domestic Violence program and helps community members through sensitive situations with confidentiality and various forms of support.
Along with her position at SAN, she is currently in the process of obtaining her Liberal Arts degree – with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Her goal is to open up an After-School/Daycare facility for children under 18 which primarily focuses on the importance of mental health awareness and emotional literacy through various creative arts.
