Paralegal
Shreya Srigiri serves as a Paralegal at the South Asian Network, where she provides legal support to survivors of domestic violence navigating family and immigration law matters. Working closely with attorneys and clients, she assists with legal advocacy, case preparation, and connecting survivors to resources that promote safety, stability, and long-term independence. Shreya is committed to providing culturally responsive, survivor-centered support and understands the unique barriers many immigrant survivors face when seeking legal protection.
A graduate of Tulane University, Shreya earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Development and Public Health. Her academic background emphasized gender-based violence, intersectionality, and global systems of inequality, and her research examined how structural systems of race, gender, colonialism, and power shape the experiences of marginalized communities while exploring coalition-building as a framework for advancing social justice.
Prior to joining SAN, Shreya gained experience in legal research and nonprofit advocacy through roles in legal services, communications, and community engagement. She is dedicated to advancing culturally responsive legal services for immigrant and South Asian communities, and recognizes both the legal and human dimensions of their experiences.
