Community Outreach Manager & Organizer
Balvinder is the Outreach Coordinator at South Asian Network (SAN). Born in India’s Sikh Family of Punjab, Balvinder achieved her Bachelors of Arts degree through Delhi University located in Delhi, India. She has always been passionate about serving local community members and helping those in need. For 2 years she held a position as an active member of a local women and child welfare association, Pitampura, Delhi (India).
As Balvinder migrated to the US, she carried that same eager nature for social work and applied it to creating a warm environment in her new local community. Through her dedication and kind hearted nature,she was titled as WOMEN OF THE YEAR (Artesia, CA) on March, 20,2020 and continues the same actions which brought her the nomination through this day. She brings a hopeful and positive attitude to SAN and aims to continue to create and keep up strong community bonds.
