As we step into our 35th year, we are humbled by the extraordinary journey that brought us here. What began as a small effort to create a safe and welcoming space for South Asian immigrants has grown into a community institution that now serves thousands with dignity, compassion, and unwavering commitment.
This year, your support helped SAN expand critical services across all our core programs:
1. Voices Against Violence,
2. Community Health Action Initiative,
3. Emotional and Mental Health, and
4. Citizenship and Civic Engagement.
These programs remain the backbone of our work, offering safety, healing, and empowerment to community members navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges.
We also strengthened our newest initiatives. Our small business support program has become a lifeline for first-generation entrepreneurs seeking capital, training, and stability for their families. Our youth leadership program is nurturing a new generation of confident Desi leaders rooted in justice and community care.
Through every program, SAN remains steadfast in the belief that the work done between election cycles—the work of building safety, belonging, resilience, and power—is what truly strengthens our community for generations to come.
