Rita joined the South Asian Network Board in 2020. Rita is a former immigration lawyer and has over ten years of experience as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion advocate in the public and private sectors across Transportation, Tech, Legal and Media & Entertainment. Rita currently works at Netflix, and her background in DEI, law and social justice has focused on advancing marginalized groups through legal advocacy, policy change and program management. Rita lives in Pasadena with her husband and two young kids.
