Kristeen Singh is a Social Entrepreneur, a natural connector and networker who mobilizes communities for causes. She has experience with nonprofits in community building, project, volunteer and event management. She Co-Founded rHope, a social enterprise, which provided a marketplace in the U.S. to support livelihoods for women living in a slum in India.
As Volunteer Director at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), an after-school program for under resourced youth, she ran the robust volunteer program, and conducted recruitment and placement to fulfill the needs of staff and the board. She built and maintained relationships with corporations, foundations, universities, and high-level donors. Moreover, one of the largest campaigns she led involved mobilizing people to add a record 5,000 potential bone marrow donors in three months at Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches, an affiliate of the National Marrow Donor program.
Recently she co-founded Mehfil LA which was hosted by SAN. Mehfil LA is an inclusive South Asian arts and activism space bringing music, poetry and visual arts in community with social justice. Currently, she works in property management and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
