admin : July 26, 2011 9:02 pm : events, Media and PhotosSAN invites you to a community hearing, “Ten Years After 9/11,” to discuss the impact of September 11th, 2001 on South Asian American community members in Southern California, over the past ten years.
Come and learn with community members, leaders, and public officials! At this critical time, SAN wants to know your story too. This is your chance to share your experiences at the hearing with SAN and with members of Congress and the California Senate and State Assembly!

The training, held on Saturday, April 16th at USC with SAN staff, will focus on recent trends in immigrant rights and what you can do! You’ll learn about current U.S. National Security and Human Rights policies, including those impacting Los Angeles. The deadline for the brief application is extended to Monday, April 4th!
